Organic Top Grade Sencha

This is this year's first tea harvest, picked at our organic tea garden in Uji, Kyoto.

Only tender new buds were picked, grown slowly in spring from tea plants that stored up nutrients over the winter. Because they develop gradually in the cooler temperatures, they're rich in theanine, the amino acid behind tea's natural umami, offering a gentle sweetness and a dewy, fresh aroma.

Each tea bag contains 3g. Simply pour hot water and wait about a minute for a carefully brewed cup. Alongside the standalone product, we've also prepared sets that let you sample and compare it with other teas.
