About the KOTOSHINA Tea Garden

KOTOSHINA is an organic cosmetics brand, but it's also, in a sense, a brand built around tea itself, the main ingredient in our cosmetics.

To create genuinely organic cosmetics built around tea, we make sure our tea itself is produced organically.

This precious organic tea garden is located in Wazuka, Kyoto Prefecture.
Known as "Chagenkyo" (the birthplace of tea), Wazuka accounts for roughly 45% of all Uji tea production, making it the central production region for Uji tea.

Under strict production standards, our organic tea fields, certified under Japan's organic JAS system, are the source of both our organic cosmetics and our organic green tea.
